Album: Seal HITS
Artist: Seal
In a remarkable career that has spanned more than two decades, Seal has received countless accolades, including three Grammy Awards, and has sold more than 15 million albums. A distinctive voice and classic songs have defined Seal’s success across genres and audiences. This double CD documents his remarkable career and includes the early singles Killer, Crazy, A Kiss from a Rose, and more recent hits like Amazing and The Right Life. HITS is a great retrospective collection for fans and the best introduction to Seal for those unfamiliar with his music.
Album: Hello Hurricane
Artist: Switchfoot
With Hello Hurricane, Switchfoot is set to thrive. The band is enjoying a new home studio HQ, a new label, and a return-to-roots creativity and sense of purpose. After ten non-stop years of working as the world’s most humble multi-million selling rock band, the hard-charging San Diego-based quintet saw recording sessions for their aptly titled seventh full-length album as a unique chance to reassess, reflect and rededicate. The result is their most accomplished recording to date. If U2 and Coldplay inspire you, you should really get this album.
Album: Avatar – Music from the Motion Picture
Artist: Various
Breaking box office records the world over, Avatar was the most anticipated movie of 2009. Director James Cameron hadn’t released a film since his most famous work Titanic broke similar records 13 years ago. Two time Oscar winner and renowned composer James Horner, who also partnered with Cameron on Titanic, has composed a suitably epic and memorable score. The album also includes pop ballad I See You (theme from Avatar) by Leona Lewis.
