Head down to Eight to Go at Spier in the Cape Winelands for lovingly prepared ready-to-eat food. Wholesome picnics and sandwiches are available to be enjoyed with a bottle of award winning Spier wine on the lawns of the farm. There is also a “Raw” option (for the super-healthy), and kids can also be catered for. In keeping with Spier’s ethos, the packaging is 100% biodegradable. For bookings, contact +27 21 809 1100.

Travel Tip
The next time you are in the Mother City, hop on a City Sightseeing Bus. It may be red, but these days it’s also green, as it recently became the first bus company in South Africa to be certified carbon neutral.
