Mojo is the first new studio album from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers in eight years. Already garnering enthusiastic reviews from Rolling Stone senior writer David Fricke, who called it “one of the best ever” by Petty and the Heartbreakers, Mojo seems to be a return to form for the band. The album’s lead track, “I Should Have Known It,” is a deep and laid back rock groove overlaid with Petty’s unmistakable vocal drawl. The album will also be released as a standalone audio only Blu-ray disc which can be played in stereo or 5.1 surround sound, providing 256 times more resolution than a CD – definitely something for the audiophiles.
